today i had the chance to play around with swiss meringue buttercream icing, and frankly, it sucks. well, i suck. it was too soft? nah, too heavy? oh i don't know. something is just off. oh but the taste is heavenly! nyaman. i am going to try it again though. it is said to be the best icing there is.

and i can't decide whether i like my icing sickeningly sweet or subtlety sweet. whether i like it gritty or smooth.

i haven't got the chance to try out fondant. i've been reading reviews that it doesn't taste as good as it looks. i should try getting those packaged fondant. expensive ba~
